Day One – Welcome to a Vermont Country Christmas!

The holiday season is such a special time in the Green Mountains, snowcapped mountains, glistening white fields, the aroma of crackling fires across the Valley and the countryside adorned with beautiful Holiday decorations – it’s truly a unique New England experience unlike any other!  Arrive to our Vermont Inn where we’ll receive a warm greeting from our local guide and festive welcome reception! Relax and enjoy the Inn’s amenities before sitting down to a delicious dinner served in the main dining room. This evening, relax by the fire place and enjoy the decorative surroundings.

Day Two – Christmas Tree Farm, Luncheon at Trapp Family Lodge & Stowe

This morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast before enjoying another fun-filled day! Start the day with a visit to one of Vermont’s Christmas Tree Farms!  View the field of tree’s while the farmer shares the history of these magical Christmastree’s!  Midday, we’ll visit the famous Trapp Family Lodge for a festive holiday luncheon. This afternoon, continue to Stowe Village for a Candy Cane making demonstration! Watch as candy makers boil, pull, turn, roll and twist these special Candy Canes into works of art which are both beautiful and delicious. Then visit Stowe Mercantile to browse shop and taste our way through this traditional country store filled with Vermont specialty foods and products! Tonight, enjoy a festive dinner back at the Inn.

Day Three – Maple Museum, Sleigh Ride and Luncheon, Caroling & Santa!

This morning after breakfast, we’ll depart for another festive day. Begin with a visit to the New England Maple Museum to learn the history of maple sugaring and samples their syrups. Then, venture to the Mountain Top Inn. Upon arrival we’ll be welcomed into the inn for refreshments and enjoy Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides taking us back in time as we wind along wooded trails and across open fields, with the fresh sent of the pines, feeling the runners glide and hearing the sleigh bells ringing softly.  An old-fashioned New England winter experience not to be forgotten!  Then, we’ll gather for a delicious Luncheon at the Inn. Later this afternoon, enjoy time at Middlebury’s Exchange Street District. Visit the Vermont Soap Company, Maple Landmark Woodcraft and Danforth Pewter and enjoy watching demonstrations from craftsmen. This evening, enjoy a scrumptious dinner along with light entertainment, Christmas caroling and a special visit from Santa.

Day Four – Depart for home

This morning depart for home taking with us wonderful memories of our Vermont Country Christmas!
