Day One

Spring blossoms again in the city of Boston! Welcome to Boston for the annual Boston Flower and Garden Show. Arrive to our Boston area hotel and receive a warm greeting along with a festive reception. Take some time to relax before enjoying a delicious dinner this evening.

Day Two

Enjoy breakfast this morning before departing for a guided tour of Boston’s historic Freedom Trail. Enjoy views of many historic sites including Boston Common, Trinity Church, The Old State House and much more. Arrive to Rowes Wharf where we’ll board the Odyssey Cruise ship for a magnificent luncheon cruise throughout Boston harbor. This afternoon, we’ll attend the Boston Flower & Garden Show. Escape the grey days of winter and rejoice in the colors of the coming spring where over 30 gardens will provide a Feast for the Senses! This tradition is loved by all who love flowers and plants, gardens and landscape design. From the first-time gardener to the greenest green thumb, Boston’s biggest horticultural happening will provide the tools and inspiration to kick off the season in style! Learn about organic gardening, container planting, cooking from your garden, pruning tips, complementary floral design and more from a series of lectures and demonstrations. This evening, enjoy dinner in the historic North End; Boston’s Little Italy!

Day Three

Enjoy breakfast before checking out. This morning a visit to the Tower Hill Botanical Gardens the third oldest Botanical Gardens in the US. The gardens are headquarters to the Worcester County Horticultural Society. Here there is time for a guided tour of this outstanding indoor greenhouses environment. There is also time to visit the Winter Garden a three sided enclosed area that houses the Domitian’s Pool, featuring bronze fountains that are large scale statues of our native Eastern Box Turtle along with outstanding winter foliage. The pool is heated slightly in winter to prevent freezing, thus allowing the fountains function all winter long. Then, depart for home with thoughts of your time in Boston with thoughts of spring flowers and warmer weather.
