Day One Corning Glass Museum & Wagner Vineyards
This morning, depart for the Finger Lakes Region of New York. En route, we’ll visit the famous Corning Glass Museum and enjoy a guided tour of this magnificent museum. Then, continue on along the east side of Cayuga Lake for a visit to Wagner Vineyards for a wine and microbrew tasting! Later this afternoon, we’ll check into our centrally located Finger Lakes area hotel and take some time to freshen up. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel.
Day Two Seward House, Skaneateles Village & Anyela’s Winery
This morning enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing with our guide for a day of touring throughout the Finger Lakes Wine Region. Visit the Seward House, once home to William H. Seward our one time Secretary of State and the man responsible for purchasing Alaska! Seward House is a mixture of Federal and Tuscan-style architecture surrounded by two acres of garden and trees. The house has been a registered National Historic Landmark since 1964 and a "Save America's Treasures" site since 2000. Then visit The Willard Memorial Chapel. This Chapel is an extremely rare example of the work of Louis C. Tiffany and Tiffany Glass and Decoration Co. in that it is only complete and unaltered Tiffany chapel known to exist. Then, enjoy free time the charming village of Skaneateles for lunch and shopping. This afternoon, enjoy breathtaking scenery as we journey along Lake Skaneateles for a visit to Anyela’s Vineyards to sample their wines, stroll through their vineyards, and enjoy our spectacular view. Return to the hotel to relax and freshen up. This evening, enjoy dinner and light entertainment at the lovely and historic Springside Inn.
Day Three Finger Lakes Cruise, Six Mile Creek Vineyard & Depart for home
This morning, enjoy breakfast before departing for Ithaca to board the Cayuga Lake Cruises for a scenic cruise on Cayuga Lake. Following the cruise, enjoy lunch on our own at Wegmans with their wide variety of unique and delicious food choices. This afternoon, we’ll finish our vacation off with a visit Six Mile Creek Vineyard for a wine tasting! Depart for home.
