Day One - Welcome to New England

Embark on a fun-filled vacation throughout Northern New England! Arrive to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire where we’ll check into our resort for a relaxing night’s stay. Receive a warm welcome by our local guide along with a refreshing welcome reception. Take some time to relax and enjoy our surroundings before dinner.

Day Two - Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise & The Rangeley Inn

This morning depart for Weirs Beach to board the MS Washington for a scenic cruise on New Hampshire’s largest lake; Lake Winnipesaukee. Enjoy beautiful scenery along with historical commentary of the lake. Disembark in the village of Wolfeboro for lunch and shopping on own. This afternoon, depart for Rangeley Maine for a two-night stay at the Rangeley Inn. This Inn is the last surviving Historic Country Inn in the Western Lakes & Mountains of Maine. It was built during a time where wealthy guests came by train from New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania to escape the noise and bustle of the city and enjoy the serenity, beauty and wildlife the area has to offer. Take some time to relax before dinner is served at the Inn. Following dinner, be entertained by one of Maine’s story tellers.

Day Three - Norlands Laugh and Learn & An evening Moose exploration

Enjoy some leisure time this morning to explore the town or relax at the Inn. Later, depart for the Washburn-Norlands Living History Museum for a country style luncheon along with very special laugh and learn programs. This evening, following dinner at the Inn, we’ll enjoy a presentation from one of Maine’s local wood carvers. Tonight, we’ll board our coach and set out with one of the Inn’s guides for an opportunity to find Moose.

Day Four - Freeport & Lobster Cruise

This morning, we’ll depart for Freeport, home of the world famous LL Bean. Enjoy free time for outlet shopping and lunch on our own. This afternoon, continue on to Ogunquit, named by the Abenaki Indians meaning, “beautiful place by the sea”. Arrive to Perkins Cove for lunch and shopping before boarding the Finest Kind cruises for a scenic cruise and first hand lobstering demonstration. Then it’s on to the villages of York and a picture stop to one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country. The Cape Neddick Light, more popularly know as “the Nubble” is set on a small island just a stone’s throw off the coast of York Village. Tonight, enjoy a traditional ‘down east’ clambake and savor Maine’s famous lobster along with a lively entertainer.

Day Five - Depart for home

This morning, depart for home taking many fond memories of our Moosin’ around New England vacation with us.
