Day One - Welcome to Vermont

Welcome to Vermont where we’ll settle into our Vermont Country accommodations for the next three evenings. Enjoy a warm welcome by our guide along with a festive welcome reception! Relax and enjoy the Inn’s amenities before sitting down to a delicious dinner served in the main dining room. This evening, relax by the fire place and enjoy the decorative surroundings.

Day Two - Middlebury Shopping, Waybury Inn Lucheon & Sleigh/Wagon Ride

This morning depart for Middlebury’s Exchange Street District. Visit the Vermont Soap Company, Maple Landmark Woodcraft and Danforth Pewter and enjoy watching demonstrations from craftsmen. This afternoon, enjoy a luncheon at the Waybury Inn. The Waybury Inn, originally built in 1810 as a stagecoach stop, is more recently known from the television series, "The Bob Newhart Show. En route back to the Inn, visit the New England Maple Museum to learn the history of maple sugaring and sample their syrups. Return to the Inn for a sleigh ride (weather permitting) or wagon ride and hot cocoa. This evening, a scrumptious dinner is served followed by caroling around the tree and a special visit from Santa.

Day Three - Woodstock & Quechee Gorge & Quechee Village

This morning we’ll depart for the village of Woodstock. Woodstock retains the elegant charm and rugged character of American antiquity. With a covered bridge in the middle of town, and stately homes surrounding the village green, it is easy to see why Woodstock has been called the "quintessential New England village." Traditional New England hospitality is shared in the unique shops and galleries, artisan studios, country stores and fine restaurants. Then visit Quechee Gorge (Vermont’s little Grand Canyon) for a picture stop and visit to Quechee Gorge Village. Sample the best of Vermont in this one stop! Nonstop Cabot Cheese samples, handmade crafts, homemade fudge, and a Blacksmith forge on site. Enjoy time in the Vermont Toy and Train Museum and the Vermont Antique Mall which hosts over 400 shops full of great antiques and collectibles. This afternoon, return to the Inn for a festive Wine and Cheese tasting. Another savory dinner is served at the Inn followed by light entertainment.

Day Four - Depart for home

This morning depart for home taking with us wonderful memories of Christmas in Vermont!
