Day One - Welcome to Cape Cod

Arrive on to the beautiful shores of Cape Cod. Known for its magnificent coastline, charming villages and historic lighthouses, it’s a place which captivates the hearts of all who visit! Check in to our Cape Cod hotel for the next four evenings and receive a warm greeting from our local step on guide along with a festive welcome reception! Relax and freshen up before enjoying dinner together.

Day Two - Whale Watch Cruise

This morning enjoy touring the outer Cape. Travel along scenic Rte 6A; more historically known as Old Kings Highway enjoying views of the cape’s charming villages and architecture.  Arrive to the Cape Cod National Seashore for a visit to the Salt Pond Visitors Center followed by a tour through the park. Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean along with a picture stop to one of the Cape's famous lighthouses. Once in Provincetown, enjoy some time browsing around the downtown waterfront area with all its artistic and eclectic shops before embarking on an exciting Whale Watch Cruise! Be sure to have your camera ready to capture these magnificent creatures as they feed and frolic in their ocean habitat.

Day Three - Nantucket Island

This morning embark on a cruise to Nantucket Island. This island fondly known as “The Gray Lady” was once the whaling capitol of the world back in the 1800's. Now a popular vacationing spot for the wealthy, Nantucket’s charm is associated with its cobblestone main street, narrow roads, simple Quaker-style homes and handsome houses dating back to the whaling days of the early 19th century. Enjoy a visit to the Nantucket Whaling Museum followed by a guided tour of this beautiful island. Enjoy some free time to explore through the many charming shops before returning by ferry back to the mainland.

Day Four - Hyannis, Plymouth & Sandwich

Begin the day with a tour of Hyannis including a picture stop to the famous Kennedy Memorial and Korean War Memorial overlooking scenic Veterans Beach. Continue on to Sandwich, Cape Cod’s oldest town. Sandwich was once the site of America’s largest glass factories in the 19th century. This town also was the home of famous author, Thornton Burgess who wrote “ Peter Cottontail” and “Old Mother West Wind”. Spend some time strolling around this charming village viewing the Dexter Grist Mill and Shawme Pond. This afternoon it’s off to America’s home town of Plymouth. It was here in 1620 where the Pilgrims landed and founded the first permanent European settlement north of Virginia. Enjoy a guided tour of Plymouth with views of the Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II and the National Monument to the Forefathers; one of the largest statues in the United States standing 81 feet tall with all 102 names of the passengers of the Mayflower etched into granite. We’ll finish the day with a visit to the Plymouth Colony Winery for views of their cranberry bog and a sampling of their fruit wines.

Day Five - Depart for Home

This morning depart for home taking with us our fun-filled memories of a whaling good time to Cape Cod!
